What can we say about our boy “Mack”? His pedigree reads like a “Who’s Who” in beagles. Mack’s sire, Ch. Springfield N Skyline’s Big Shot (Elliot), won the American National Beagle Specialty, and
was “Sire of The
Year” in 2007. Many of Elliot’s offspring have been “Best In Show” and “Best In Specialty Show” winners. Elliot’s pedigree goes back to many famous international kennels, Daragoj,
Lanbur, and Clarion to name a few. Mack’s dame is Canadian/American Champion Manahound
Payback (Phoebe), an absolutely stunning bitch whose parents are both “Best In Show” and “Best In
Specialty Show” winners.
Behind Phoebe are well known dogs from Manahound, Shaw’s, Loverly, and again Daragoj.
With all this potential our boy Mack has large shoes to fill!
Mack
finished his Canadian championship on a specialty weekend by going Best
Opposite Sex over numerous male specials, two of whom are Best in Specialty
Show winners. He had been shown for
only two weekends and was eight months old.
In 2009 Mack will be travelling south of the border to start work on his
American title.
A dog of
perpetual sunny disposition and enthusiasm, Mack is a delight to live
with. He is a proven sire with 3
litters of puppies already on the ground and 2 more breedings in the planning
stages. He is MLS negative.
He is
